GM Custom Clothier was founded on a single conviction: clothing made to fit one person, measured, cut, sewn, and pressed with complete intention, is simply better clothing. Not more expensive for its own sake. Just better.
Our master tailor began in the craft through classical apprenticeship under a cutter who believed every seam carried the maker's reputation. That philosophy has never left the workroom.
We opened our Sugar Land atelier to serve Houston's growing community of professionals, families, and brides who had outgrown the off-the-rack world without finding a better answer. We became that answer.

Thirty-plus measurements are taken. A unique pattern is drafted for your body, not adapted from a stock block. Every asymmetry and posture quirk is accounted for.
Two to three fittings refine the garment. No stitch is final until the fit is undeniable. Your pattern is kept on file for future orders, so you never start from scratch again.
A garment that fits perfectly will look elegant in any decade. We prioritize proportion and structure over trend.

We source from mills with heritage: Scabal, Dormeuil, Holland & Sherry. Not from fast-fabric clearances.
We keep your measurements and patterns on file for life. Many of our clients have been with us from the beginning.
